In order to provide meaningful results, research processes must be carefully selected and appropriate for the data being analyzed. Qualitative analysis is completed using content analysis, looking for patterns and themes that emerge from the data. Whether you will engage in either quantitative or qualitative research, it is likely that you will encounter both types of studies in the literature.
