Jesus put energy in connecting people and pulling individuals together for the common good. He spoke into people’s hearts by observing and listening to people. For example, he discerned Simon Peter’s deep frustration from the empty net of a failed night’s fishing expedition to a foreign woman’s embarrassment and shame at a well because she somehow couldn’t shake the problems or pains of her past. According to Henson, J. D. (2020), Jesus also used parables and stories to capture his gathering.
What techniques did he use to get people to follow him?
Jesus was the master teacher who would gather thousands of people who would hang on his word. He spoke with power and authority during his teachings which amazed his gathering. Jesus used parables, exaggerations, and shocking statements to maintain his crowd (Henson, J. D. 2020). For example, an organization’s outdoor activities create a platform for relating with other employees and leaders.

An engaging workplace environment keeps the employees interested in working. Strategies that foster an engaging environment are celebrating contributions, building trust, cultivating co-dependency, and fostering job satisfaction (Wilson, et al, 2018).
