Professional Development Goals
Nursing is a rewarding profession where patient satisfaction and better health outcomes are the rewards. As an aspiring nurse practitioner and with the professional goal of becoming nurse educator, I will express my passion for acquiring more knowledge and learning by integrating features from preceding roles like clinical assessments, role modeling, assessment, into advanced nursing practice. I aim to inspire nurse students to provide the best care to their patient. Using a holistic and personalized care approach, I will integrate imperative values such as patient advocacy, accountability, knowledge, and inquiry (LeFlore, 2016).
As an educator, it is my duty to develop an environment that inspires more knowledge acquirement. I will act as a valued resource in guiding students to apply the current evidence-based practice. As a neonatal nurse practitioner, I intend to be competent in skills and knowledge in all areas of neonatal care and apply the knowledge in improving care for my patients (LeFlore, 2016).NURS 6002 Assignment Discussion
