It is an agreement whereby the seller pays fair wages and provides good working conditions in the developing countries. Fairtrade was an initiated partnership that showed interest in the needs of all the farmers representing a solution to poverty and a development model. Trading practices are fair and not one-sided. The prices paid are fair and sufficient for producers and workers to earn enough to meet their daily needs. Fairtrade payments are often made in advance to ensure the supplier fulfills their orders.
