Discuss opportunities experienced by this group in the labor force.

Out assignment this week is to expand the outline we completed and turned in
during week 3.

We have to create a presentation (not a paper!) on a powerpoint.
Since the presentation has to be between 15-20 slides, this means that each of
us has to do a minimum of 2 slides each.

I think we should create the slides on
the part of the outline we did research on, so here was our assigned job in week
3:

1. The issues, challenges, and
opportunities experienced by this group in the labor force.

2. How society has constructed
this group’s identity? labor force

3.
The legal framework relating to this issue.

4. Summary of existing or proposed
solutions of differing groups. Consider the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission, corporate human resources departments, state or federal laws and
regulations, political strategies, government agencies, religious groups, and
grass roots organizations.

5. Whether or not this issue exists in other countries, and if so,
how is it handled by differing groups?

6. Your team’s compromise or
alternative to existing solutions.

7. A description the organization,
order, and approach to your team’s presentation. 

8.
Introduction, Thesis Statement, and Conclusion.

Please prepare a
minimum of two slides on the information you gathered for our topic, Gay Rights.
Make sure to site your sources correctly.

When you make your slide, only put basic information on the
slide. Put the in-depth information in the part that says “speaker notes”. Do
not fill up the powerpoint slide with a ton of words, please!
We got a 7.5/8 points because
we did not include “a section on concepts”.
