Qualitative Health Research Paper
The use of research in nursing promotes evidence-based practices. The knowledge gained helps in the improvement of safety and quality in that data regarding diverse health conditions such as diabetes, asthma and heart failure are analyzed to prevent medical errors (Titler, 2008). Theoretical frameworks of nursing also guide the practice ensuring that the practice follows approved procedures that have been tested previously. Qualitative Health Research Paper
I will use evidence-based practice to improve safety and quality in the health setting through becoming a change champion who will initiate and implement innovations. For instance, I will orient the staff members on changes in the treatment of diabetes and develop a positive working relationship among the members to ensure that the increasing diabetic cases are managed effectively within the institution. Evidence-based knowledge is informative and thus supports my role in practice as a nursing professional (van Wijngaarden, Meide, & Dahlberg, 2017). For example, it provides interventions that have already been tested and proved to be effective in particular applications in healthcare management. Moreover, it provides information that acts as basis for treatment and diagnosis of diseases. Qualitative Health Research Paper

During my practice, I will use evidence-based research to resolve dilemmatic situations as well as make informed decision regarding the patient health. This will help in the formulation of a treatment plan that is researched and also involves the patient and as well is focused on the improving the patients experience. Consequently, it will enlighten me on the culturally sensitive practice during diagnosis and treatment. This will support the ethical principles of nursing, ensure engagement of patient in their care and as well promote quality and safety (Babcock & Thonus, 2018). Evidence-based practice will also increase my innovativeness in health through critical thinking which will be essential in developing safety and quality solutions in the hospital.
